Directors


Gail has been the director of PDO since 1995. She has a degree in child development from North Dakota State University and has been working with young children for 35 years. She grew up in Fargo, ND is happily married with 2 grown-up daughters, and loves to listen to and make music. Gail is dedicated to PDO and loves the kiddos and families and her wonderful staff.
Barb has been involved with Parent’s Day Out for many years – first as a parent, and then as assistant director. She has a degree from CSU and many years of experience working with children from newborns to teens. Barb has four children who keep her very busy when she is not at Parent’s Day Out.

Kathryn grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Denver, Colorado. She graduated from CSU with a bachelor's degree in social work and then earned her master's degree in social work from DU. Kathryn worked as a social worker for many years in the Denver area before moving to Fort Collins in 2015 and becoming a preschool teacher. Kathryn and her husband, Todd, have four sons ranging in age from 11 to 18 years old. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys jogging, hiking, and snuggling with her 3 dogs.

Lea was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has lived in Loveland, Colorado for 5 years. She received her bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, and has worked with children in the preschool setting for 7 years. In her spare time, Lea loves to cook, garden, paint, and spend time with her two little boys and husband, Aaron.
Ashley grew up in the panhandle of Florida and moved to Colorado in 2009 after college. She and her husband have a son. They love to ride bikes, hike, snowboard and spend time at the lake. Ashley has
has a bachelor's degree in Sociology and worked in higher education as an academic advisor and financial aid representative. Her son attended Parents Day Out when he was a toddler. After he started school, Ashley decided to become an Early Childhood Teacher and earned an Early Childhood Professional credential. Ashley enjoys working with children and being a part of their learning journey.

Kelli lives in Windsor with her partner, Ravi, and their three-year-old son, Makhai. She loves plants and gardening and has a degree in horticulture from CSU. She also loves insects and plans to get a master's in entomology. Her favorite pastimes are spending time with her family, cooking, and hiking.
Stephanie has a degree in Elementary Education. She has worked with young children for many years. Stephanie has 3 children. She and her husband enjoy traveling, skiing and boating on their free time.
Cheri is in her 25th year of teaching children from birth to 18 years of age. She graduated in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in family and consumer science from Utah State University. She is the proud mother of 5 children and grandmother to her first grandbaby, Tyler. She looks forward to helping your child feel loved, nurtured, and cared for as they explore the world around them at preschool.
